Resolution Submitted to SOMA House of Delegates

So my resolution has been accepted by SOMA and will be heard by the House of Delegates.  The goal of my resolution is to create a financial disincentive for hospitals to close residency programs without first allowing the trainees to complete their program.  The resolution is not designed to prevent program closures or punish hospitals, only to encourage closures to take place in a more humane way that is more fair to the trainees being displaced.  With any luck, the SOMA House of Delegates will pass this resolution and it will be sent along to the AOA Committee on Post-Graduate Affairs and then approved by the AOA!
